Pavle Jefferson comes to Scarsdale Golf Club after serving as Director of Racquet Sports at Fox Meadow Tennis Club in Scarsdale, NY for the past 7 years. There he led programming in tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball for all ages and levels of play. Before joining the FMTC family, Pavle was Director of Racquet Sports at Edgewood Country Club in Edgewood, NJ and Head Tennis Professional at Bronxville Field Club in Bronxville, NY. Prior to his engagement in the club industry, Pavle had a successful career in collegiate coaching, serving as the Women’s Assistant Coach at Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, and Duke University. While at Duke, Pavle helped coach the team to a NCAA championship title and coached Duke's no.1 singles player, Mallory Cecil, to a NCAA singles title and the no.1 ranking in the country. Pavle played collegiate tennis for Columbia University, mainly in the 2-4 singles and 1 doubles positions. In addition to helping Columbia win two Ivy League titles, Pavle was elected team Captain during his senior year. Pavle has also coached at the tour level, working with Shahar Peer (world ranked 15 at the time) at the 2006 US Open and Mallory Cecil at the 2009 US Open. He was also top 3 in the Eastern Section as a junior player and was ranked in the top 50 nationally. Pavle currently plays APTA tournaments and finished this season ranked 19 in the nation with partner Rafa Coutinho. Pavle has a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University and a M.S. in Global Affairs from New York University.
