Federico is a native of Argentina where he was ranked top 100 in the national professional ranking. He graduated from Queens College in 2019 with a degree in Computer Science. He was captain for the Queens College Men's team in 2018 when they reached a national ranking of 37 as a team in Division 2 tennis. Following his four years of eligibility, he coached the team from 2018 to 2020 and was a senior pro in the Queens College tennis center. Apart from coaching, he managed the members databases and organized tournaments sanctioned by the USTA.
