Annie Browning wears many hats as SGC's Aquatics & Fitness Director and our swim team's head coach. Competitively swimming since she was 5 years old, a former Division I swimmer for Providence College, Annie still holds the school record in the 200 meter breaststroke. While at Providence, Annie received various accolades both for athletics and academics including the Dean’s List, Big East Scholar Athlete of the Week, twice nominated for Female Athlete of the Year, and qualified for and competed at the Big East Championships each of her four years to name a few. Following her studies as a History major, Annie moved to New York City where she completed a M.S. at Fordham University while teaching full time in Harlem. Following six years of teaching inner city in Harlem, Annie taught middle school Social Studies at Convent of the Sacred Heart in New York City for seven years where she also coached the varsity swim team, varsity soccer team, and middle school track and cross country teams. Annie is also a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, a NASM certified Golf Fitness Specialist and looks forward to joining you on your wellness journey! Rates-$125 per session or $550 for 5 sessions.
