MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS The Admission process is member sponsored. Any person who has been a member for at least one year may be a Sponsor. The information below outlines this process and gives you a general understanding of what to expect during this time. Step 1: The Sponsor or Seconder will obtain a membership package from the Front Desk. Step 2: The Sponsor and Seconder each write a letter of recommendation, detailing why the candidates would be desirable members of the Club. Step 3: The Sponsor’s and Seconder’s letters and the candidates’ completed Application Forms are delivered to the Club. Step 4: The candidates’ names will be posted to the membership for a minimum of 10 days for comments. Step 5: The Admissions Subcommittee will meet and interview the candidates. Step 6: The candidates will attend the Admissions Reception to meet the entire Admissions Committee and members of the Board. Step 7: The candidates’ Sponsor will communicate admissions approval to the candidates. When the club receives the initial payment, the “new member” may begin to enjoy the outstanding hospi- tality that Scarsdale Golf Club has to offer.
