Tennis Dress Code

 

Proper tennis attire is required at all times on the tennis court. Clothing should be neat, respectable and appropriate for a family club. 

Tennis shoes are required for all players. Street shoes or golf shoes are not allowed to be worn on the tennis courts.

 

Proper Tennis Attire:

Men and Boys:

  • Tennis shorts and tennis tops
  • Athletic pants and long sleeve athletic tops when needed.

Women and Girls:

  • Tennis skirts, tennis shorts and tennis tops
  • Leggings and long sleeve athletic tops when needed.

 

Here is a list of clothing items not appropriate for the tennis courts:

Men and Boys may NOT wear:

  • Sleeveless shirts
  • T-shirts (appropriate athletic shirts only)
  • Shirts and shorts with writing or large printed logos
  • Cut off shorts
  • Cargo shorts
  • Swimsuits
  • Sweat pants

 

Women and Girls may NOT wear:

  • T-shirts (appropriate athletic shirts only)
  • Shirts and shorts with writing or large printed logos
  • Cut off short shorts
  • Gym shorts
  • Swimsuits or cover ups 

If you have any doubt about whether your attire meets these guidelines, please check with the Pro Shop in advance.


Important notes:

  • Members are responsible for their children and their guests wearing appropriate tennis attire on the tennis courts.
  • These guidelines pertain solely to the tennis courts and patio.  Tennis attire meeting these guidelines may not be acceptable elsewhere within the Club (such as dining areas or golf course).
  • Any Member or Guest wearing apparel that does not meet this code will be asked to change to appropriate dress.
